This installation was a part of the exhibition "Reaches
the Heights" - contemporary art and educational events
in Washington Heights, organized by NURTUREart, at NewYork
Presbyterian, Baldwin Gallery, Milstein Building, from March
10th to May 4th 2001.
Message from the artist
March 10, 2001
I designed this project based upon my own hospital and art
experience in mind. This is a site specific art project in
1) The space of the building, 2) The space as a hospital.
A hospital is a special place. Ever since I experienced a
hospital stay, doing an installation in a hospital was very
meaningful for me. I am hoping that people who are in the
hospital will appreciate the artwork.
