TYPEWRITER - ENERGY

As part of Carole Sivin's show "CONNECTIONS," Sivin
has invited guest artist Keiko Miyamori to exhibit "Typewriter-Energy."
Known for her delicate installations examining mans relationship
to nature, Miyamori will include a series of seven typewriters
wrapped in unique traditional Japanese papers with charcoal
rubbings from different trees.
"While planning for a solo exhibition, I saw Keiko Miyamori's
exhibition in a Harlem Gallery and found her work to be innovative
and inspiring on many levels. A few months ago, I decided to
invite her to share my exhibition. Our work together has been
enjoyable as we expanded the exhibition to include poet friends
and colleagues - thus giving the name "CONNECTIONS" for the
show."
